Fantastic chance to join a leading bank as a HR Project Consultant based in Milton Keynes. Reward and Employee Relations is a new Area of Expertise within the HR function, providing functional leadership for HR Business Partners and line managers in the specialisms of reward, policy, employee relations and diversity.
In addition, you will have 5-7 years of technical HR experience with a sound knowledge of employment legislation and CIPD certified. Following the HR Review, HR project consultancy will form part of the Policy & Employee Relations Department. The vision is to develop a ?world class? HR Advice & Consultancy function in the bank.
The Project Consultant will contribute technical expertise to business change projects. HR Project Consultants will act as the HR technical expert on business change projects. These will typically be change projects that require an in depth knowledge of new, evolving or a complex area of employment law. As a technical expert in employment legislation and HR practice, to contribute to the people mgt issues of business change projects. This is based on an in depth knowledge and application of employment law, a detailed understanding of our business, policies and procedures and experience of project management methodologies To understand the people management implications of business change projects and make recommendations on the approach based on an in depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice To keep up to date on external developments and changes in employment legislation and case law, and understand the implications on our business and change initiatives To share knowledge and provide technical expertise to HR colleagues The successful applicant will be able to: Can scope a project and define*agree outcomes Can manage a project of work involving more complex milestones over an extended period of time Can develop a risk management plan as part of the project Can identify resource requirements Can identify and plan for interdependencies with other related projects.
